Arts Mix (AMK)
What’s that?  You can’t decide which art class to take? With Arts Mix, you’ll get a different art class each day—drawing, painting, mixed media collage, and pottery.

Cartooning (CAR)
Hey kids! What time is it? It’s time to pick up those pencils and give cartooning a shot. What’s that you say? You can’t draw a straight line? Not even necessary! Some of the world’s best cartoonists can’t draw one either, but has that stopped them? No way! After a few lessons you’ll amaze even yourself! (Actual amazement may vary… our lawyers told us we had to say that.)

Dramacting (DRA)
Your everyday life is full of drama—the way you roll your eyes and SIGH when Mom tells you turn off the TV and do your homework; your expression of utter revulsion when strange food is on the dinner table; your exaggerated outrage when told to share with little brother or sister. In this class, we’ll teach you how to be even more dramatic. Mom and Dad will love it.

Food Chemistry (FCH)
We bet you didn’t know that your Mom or Dad turns into a chemist every time she or he fixes dinner (microwaving a Stouffer’s doesn’t really count). Your kitchen is a laboratory full of strange chemicals like sodium chloride, acetic acid and sucrose. When certain chemicals are combined they can become explosively delicious (or a real disaster – depending on your Mom or Dad). Let’s mix something up.

Forensics (FOR) New
Even the smartest crook leaves behind clues to his or her identity and forensic experts know how to find them. Just because you’re only in elementary school doesn’t mean that you can’t learn some of the techniques of seasoned investigators. Fingerprints, blood, hair and fiber analysis are all parts of any forensic kit. Let’s solve a camp mystery.

It's Electric! (ELE) New
Take a look around your room. How many of the things you love are either plugged in or require batteries? We bet a lot of them are. So, how does electricity work, exactly? As best as we can figure out, these little things called electrons get all excited and move from one place to another and somehow make things light up or move or make noise or something. It’s real complicated, right? (Nah, it’s pretty easy and you’re going to find out how easy.)

MatheMAGICAL Arts (MAT) New
All year you sit in your math class during school.  The last thing you’d want to do is take a math class at summer camp, right?  WRONG!  This will be unlike any math class you’ve ever had.  Learn to appreciate math through art, music, and movement. You might even learn a few card tricks (that are algebra problems in disguise!) to amaze your friends and teachers at school next year.

Move It! (MVT) New
We like to move it, move it. We like to MOVE IT! If you’re a kid, one of the hardest thing you ever have to do is sit still. Luckily, there is very little sitting still in this class. It’s a joyous class where creative movement is encouraged and could eventually lead to…dancing! It’s all about getting into the groove of the rhythm and following it wherever it may lead. No dancing experience necessary.

Pixillation (PIX) New
Through the magic of stop-motion photography we can make inanimate objects appear to move around and make people do seemingly impossible stunts like fly, disappear, or even walk through walls. Take your turn as director of this craziness and produce your own stop-motion film. Limited enrollment. $15 class fee.

Pottery (POT)
It is a well-known fact that clay just hates sitting there doing nothing. It would much rather be smashed, molded, kneaded, shaped, twisted, pinched, and taken to the movies. (Well, maybe not that last one.) Give some deserving lumps of clay a good workout.

Science Mix (SMK)
You love all types of science, but you can’t decide which science classes to take. With Science Mix, you’ll get a different science class each day—Food Chemistry, Forensics, It’s Electric, and Under the Sea.

Under the Sea (SEA) New
If you’ve been paying attention, you might have heard that the world’s oceans are changing. Sea creatures are disappearing, sea levels are rising, polar ice caps are melting, and ocean currents are shifting. It’s a big mess. Take a virtual trip below the waves to explore the deep blue sea and maybe stop along the way to cut up some of the oceans’ inhabitants. (Hey, it’s science, so we’ve got to dissect something!)

Yuck Science (YKS)
There's probably a limit on how yucky this course can get, but luckily, we haven't found it yet (although we keep trying). Maybe this summer we will. Let's hope not!
