If you are a junior or senior in high school and are starting to think about college courses, UNCG offers high school advanced placement programs that help high school students get ready for college. The UNCG high school advanced placement program, iSchool, is an ideal method in which high school juniors and seniors seeking advanced placement can get ahead of the game by taking college classes and getting college credit while still in high school.

Our high school advanced placement classes are actual college courses, taught in your high school by teachers approved through UNCG. High school students in North Carolina can earn college credit hours as they simultaneously satisfy their high school graduation requirements.
The University of North Carolina Greensboro high school advanced placement students study English Comp, Western Civ, Pre-Calculus, and more. iSchool students receive an official UNCG transcript documenting transferable college credit hours. We are so sure of our iSchool college credit program that if high school students receive a grade of C or better and the college or university they attend does not accept their credit hours, we will refund the tuition!
